Part One

As you can see I thoroughly enjoyed the Gyro's over there. Piled high with juicy shaved pork, fresh tomatoes, sliced onions and yes, french fries all on a perfectly grilled pita. I put the fresh Tzatziki dip. My, oh my, my mouth is watering again.

I am sharing some photos of the food I ate. I will try to remember the names of it all, but please forgive me if I can't recall the exact name but give you a description instead.

Grilled Pita Bread. Tzatziki Dip. Spicy Cheese Dip.

Lightly battered Cod with salad. I did not know the Cod had bones in it but I managed. If you know me, I typically do not eat fish which has bones. I prefer the filet. And of course, a spritz of fresh lemon. I used lemon a lot while I was there and will continue to do so. The lemon brings the acidity to balance the flavors.

Kalimera!

Breakfast.

Scrambled Eggs. Fried Cheese. Fresh Tomatoes. Little sausages. Bacon (Amber you would have loved the Bacon. It was cooked just right to your specifications). Bagel. Fresh Bread. Ham, turkey and cheese rolls. The best apricot jam I have ever eaten.

Stay tuned for Part 2
