Creamy Zesty Italian Dressing

Tried and tested recipe for creamy, zesty Italian dressing.



This is the perfect dressing for salads and roasted potatoes and vegetables. This may also be used as a marinade for meats. I used this when I roasted potatoes. I needed an acid to go with the creaminess of the Creamed Collard Greens.


Creamy Zesty Italian Dressing


Ingredients

2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/4 cup white wine vinegar (red wine will work also)

1 Tbsp parmesan cheese (optional)

1 Tbsp dijon mustard

1 tsp lemon zest

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried parsley

1 tsp honey

1/2 tsp red pepper

3/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper


Directions

Super simple directions:


Combine all ingredients in a Mason jar and shake to combine.

Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
